Tamiya F104W Ferrari 643

Take Control of a Thoroughbred

This is a ready to assemble electric powered R/C model of the Ferrari 643, which made its debut at the French GP during the 1991 F1 season with Alain Prost and Jean Alesi at the helm. The polycarbonate body realistically recreates the aerodynamic form of the Ferrari 643 and it is mounted on the direct drive 2WD F104W chassis. A sticker sheet to depict the liveries of both No.27 & No.28 cars and separately-molded parts for the front/rear wings and driver helmet are included.

Direct Drive F104W Chassis

The F104W chassis features a longitudinal battery layout which allows for a slim chassis design. Chassis features a double deck layout with 2.0mm upper and 3.2mm lower FRP decks. F103 front suspension arms are incorporated to accurately replicate the wide body dimensions of this machine. Front independent kingpin/coil spring suspension as well as rear 3-point suspension with friction plate and coil spring offers sharp handling performance. Direct drive 2WD transmits motor power directly to the spur gear which is equipped with a ball differential.
